Big Bang’s Special Edition album will contain three new songs and will be released on April 8th and new activities will follow.

On the 28th YG Entertaintment said, “Big Bang’s new special edition album will bring a total of 10 songs, of which 3 songs are new. In the 5 years since Big Bang debuted they have never released a repackaged album or best album, this time too with the first special edition album, there will be a new album jacket design and special packaging.“

For the new special album YG Ent has decided to promote 2 songs. Big Bang will promote “Love Song”, a song quite different from Big Bang’s usual music style and “Stupid Liar”, which will have strong rock tendencies.

Also, Daesung’s solo, “Baby Don’t Cry”, which was first heard at Big Bang’s BIG SHOW last February is scheduled to be included in this album as well.

Big Bang ended their fourth mini-album promotions on SBS’s Inkigayo last March 27th but they plan to start acitivities again on April 10th via Inkigayo with their double title tracks.

YG spoke about their Japanese plans as well, “Big Bang’s Japanese tour is scheduled for May and Juny so unfortunately activities for this special edition album are expected to end on May 1st. It’s rather unfortunate that they’ll have a short activity period of only 3 weeks but they will try to go on as many stations as possible so fans can see them.”

 

 

A few days back, we reported that Big Bang would be releasing another album in 2011. Well, it seems that the group is dead-set on making this promise come true, as seen in a photo taken from their recording studio!

Leader G-Dragon posted this picture through his me2day on March 22nd with the caption, “The hyungs are recording and the dongsaengs are sleeping…”

In the picture, G-Dragon is seen throwing up his hands up in the air, while Taeyang poses happily with a grin. Crashed out on sofas them are Seungri and Daesung.

Netizens showed feverish reactions to the photo, such as “What kind of mutiny of the young is this, dongsaengs, wake up!”, “Was the photo taken by T.O.P?”, and “Idol group Big Bang’s looking free!”.

Meanwhile, Big Bang is also preparing for their 2011 ‘Big Show’ on March 25th - 27th at the Olympic Park Gymnasium.

Last evening was definitely Big Bang’s night as the five member power group made their comeback in the biggest of ways – with an hour-long comeback episode on SBS and a concert with 14,000 fans, there was no question that Big Bang is back and better than ever.

Aside from seeing the members making their live stage comeback, one of the most highly anticipated features for the ‘2011 Big Show’ was the unveiling of Big Bang’s title track MV, TONIGHT.

As earlier revealed, the music video was filmed in Las Vegas; although it doesn’t feature the song’s choreography, the backdrops and unique atmosphere of this MV more than make up for it.

Big Bang’s comeback date has been finalized!

On February 14th, YG Entertainment Big Bang’s comeback date through their official website. revealed

According to the agency, Big Bang is having a comeback on February 24th by releasing a mini album, as rumors suggested. Big Bang’s comeback is the one of the most anticipated comebacks of the year and is expected to have a big impact on the entertainment industry.

Fans have been waiting for their comeback for years and is greatly anticipating Big Bang’s return to the music scene.

Meanwhile, it was noted that the Big Bang members’ names was marked out in small letters around the head, leaving fans to wonder if there was any special meaning to the placement.

GD&TOP have enjoyed a stratospheric level of success with all their endeavors so far, but it looks like they’ll kick it up a notch with the release of their “Baby Good Night” MV.

Piggy Dolls made a loud entrance into the Korean music scene by headlining about their combined weight of 230kg. After performing their debut track, “Trend“, on various public music programs, their name immediately dominated portal search rankings and became a hot topic of interest.

At the center of their stage is the oldest member, Min Sun (19), who was blessed with a voice that comes from a family of musicians. She’s dreamed of becoming a singer ever since she was seven years old, as her grandfather was a specialist of the traditional pansori, and her father majored in vocal music.

The second oldest, Jiyeon (19), dreamt of becoming a singer ever since she she attended a concert of Park Hyoshin’s. Her father reportedly gave up his own dreams to be a singer due to his family’s disagreement, but fortunately for Jiyeon, she was spared the same discouragement.

Maknae Ji Eun (16), is a part of the ‘94 line with KARA’s Jiyoung, f(x)’s Sulli, and 4minute’s Sohyun. Despite starting off on the path of art, she found that her true passion lies in music. Ji Eun was able to realize her dream of debuting as a singer after only a year of attending music academies.

The trio has often been nicknamed as ‘the second Big Mama’ or ‘the second Bubble Sisters‘, but they explained, “We just wanted to give hope to people like us. There’s been an increase of youths dreaming of becoming singers, but there’s no law stating that one can only become a part of a girl group if you’re skinny and beautiful. We wanted to help people realize their dreams without being bogged down by the views of others.”

Just like how their lyrics state, ‘We are trend‘, the girls’ biggest weapon is their confidence, which also stem from the support they receive from their labelmate, Norazo.

When asked about their role models, the Piggy Girls immediately cited 2NE1.

“2NE1 are our role models. We want our performances to make people look forward to both our singing talents, and to our personalities as well. We would like to meet with the 2NE1 seniors and receive advice on how to enjoy the stage,” they claim.

They concluded, “Still, we’re disappointed in not being able to ‘break’ our debut stage. There’s a lot of things we haven’t been able to show yet, and if we received an opportunity to re-do our debut, I’m sure we could ‘break’ the stage then.”

Last week, Big Bang’s Taeyang checked in with his fans after leaving Las Vegas for New York. Now, as his two week stay in America reaches its end, Taeyang said his final goodbyes to both the Big Apple and to the States.

On this week’s episode of MBC “We Got Married”, Victoria surprised her ‘husband’ Nichkhun with a gift in support of 2PM’s comeback stage on “Music Core”.

Victoria spent all morning making a homemade Pad Thai lunchbox, and with the help of SHINEE’s Minho, she was able to successfully enter 2PM’s waiting room to deliver her special lunchbox to Nichkhun.

Although he didn’t show it on stage, Nichkhun acted like a cute baby as he told Victoria, “To be honest it was a bit hard for me today. I think I hurt this area.” Out of jealousy, member Junho replied, “I guess you’ll be all better after you eat that?”

When the members bitterly asked, “Is it nice?”, Nichkhun completely ignored them and instead stared longingly at Victoria with a happy expression. Nichkhun said, “Victoria’s present was like medicine.”

The January 22nd episode of KBS’s “Entertainment Relay” had Khuntoria fans swooning over a particular interview question posed to 2PM’s Nichkhun.

The boys were interviewed on the set of a photoshoot, and the reporter eventually asked Nichkhun, “Who makes your heart beat faster these days?”

Nichkhun answered unreservedly, “Victoria.”

It’s not quite the love confession that fangirls were looking for, but all the same, it made everyone’s hearts stop. Could this couple get any cuter?
